Each Rococo Industriale Table is created by first carving a design into the surface of honeycomb cardboard, exposing the honeycomb pattern. The open honeycomb is then spray painted with a variety of colors. The exposed honeycomb grooves are hand painted with a variety of brilliant acrylic colors. The surface is then gold leafed. A sheet of tempered glass protects the gold leaf and the open honeycomb, also allowing the table to sustain heavier loads. The table top is supported by a steel framework that is also gold leafed. Filagree wire legs carry the honeycomb theme into the support. The bottom of each leg is "shod" with gold leafed steel.
