ABOUT
Artist - Sculptor - Cóctelier
I'd describe myself as an irrepressible creative. A creative is best described as an eclectic jack-of-all-trades; a collector of odd tidbits of information and diverse experiences; who employs skills and techniques from a hodge-podge of methodologies. When these are combined and used creatively, they can be applied across a wide range of disciplines: art, design, music and yes, even cocktails. Not surprisingly then, true Creatives often end up pursuing a rather checkered career.
"It's "creativity" that ultimately gave rise to the Bohemian lifestyle of many artists. Bohemians - those curious creatures who live halfway between fantasy and reality. They intersect and juxtapose like human fractals who, according to their individual temperaments guise themselves in the beautiful, the bizarre or the whimsical and tend to reflect one of these qualities in their art and lives."

My Art
When working out a design for a piece of art furniture or one of my original handcrafted fine art lamps, I insist that the various elements making up the piece, reflect one another in character and style. This is called "artistic integrity" and it is a hallmark of my designs. You can't create a cool shade for a lamp and stick it on any old base without thinking about whether they compliment one another. Conversely , you can't create an unusual base and top it with a conventional shade.
